SWOP Baltimore is collaborating with other local sex workers and organizations in launching a sex worker mutual aid fund. Sex workers were already vulnerable before COVID-19 and now with social distancing and the increased difficulty of accessing healthcare direct relief funds are necessary for keeping sex workers safe and housed.

Funds donated here will be split 50/50 between SWOP Baltimore and Baltimore Safe Haven to directly support sex workers in this uncertain time.

We will be offering direct relief funds to in-person sex workers based in Baltimore to help in these uncertain times. We are prioritizing sex workers who are Black or other people of color; street based sex workers; transgender; and immunocompromised sex workers. We are able to offer direct relief funds on a sliding scale of $50-$200, these are currently one time funds but if we are able to secure further funding we will try to provide ongoing support. If you are in need of support please reach out to us via email: baltimore@swopusa.org or by phone 1877-776-2004 extension 410.
